When the Guild Wars In-Game Store was created, there were some
needed account management changes to allow for these in-game
purchases. When a purchase is made through the Guild Wars In-Game
Store, you are required to integrate your Guild Wars game account
into the Guild Wars Gold Account Management system. You can either
create a new Guild Wars Gold master account name and password or you
can link it to your existing Guild Wars Gold master account to make
a purchase. After doing so, all administrative options such as
changing your game account password, would then be managed from your
Guild Wars Gold master account. The integration is not reversible.
For you, the management of your account is now easier and more
secure than ever.
You can access your Guild Wars Gold master account via the official
Guild Wars Gold website, where you can easily manage all your NCsoft
games and get new information on upcoming NCsoft titles. Simply head
over to http://www.Guild Wars Gold.com/, choose ACCOUNT from the
left hand menu and log into your Guild Wars Gold master account with
the login and password you provided when you created the account.
You will now see the Guild Wars Gold Account Management page. From
here, you can view and manage all your existing NCsoft games, easily
add new games and create or change subscriptions. To change your
Guild Wars password for example, click the Game Accounts link,
select your Guild Wars game account from the list provided, then
click the CHANGE PASSWORD link in the Actions section of your Game
Account Details page. Simple, fast and secure.
Another change affects your Guild Wars account name. After the
migration, you are no longer able to change your Guild Wars login.
This change helps to improve account security, as you will be able
to manage all your accounts via your single Guild Wars Gold master
account. Even if you lose access to that e-mail account or forget
your password, you have still full control over your game account by
accessing your Guild Wars Gold master account. |
